Basic has a specified
name for it’s classes, like for grade 1 it is called Matthew, the second is
called Mark, the third is Luke, the fourth is John, the fifth is Acts, the
sixth is Romans, the seventh ( Junior ) is called Joshua, the eight is Caleb,
the ninth is Moses, the tenth is Jacob,, and eleventh is Isaac, with each class
followed by a number.
Basic has a meaning
behind it’s name, the B is for Benar ( Righteous ), A is for Adil ( Just ),
Suci ( Pure ), Indah ( Beauty ), and Cintah Kasih ( Love ). Basic has made “Aku
B.I.S.A” as well, the B is Bersih ( Clean ), Indah ( Beauty ), Sopan ( Polite
), Aman ( Safe ), and many else.
Basic has a Computer lab, Science lab, Music
room, Canteen, and Indoor. This school has a stage in the main building, and
another one in the Indoor. In the Indoor, there is two goal posts for futsal
with it’s field lines, two basketball rings, a table tennis table, and a volley
net, the Indoor is equipped with nets to keep balls from hitting the Canteen
wall. The Indoor is located behind the main building that is connected by a
road that is located below an under construction room that will be made for
various things, and the Canteen is located beside the Indoor, sometimes, the
Indoor is used for worship, any big events ( such as Christmas, School
Anniversary, Chinese New Year, Easter, Student Orientation Day, and many more
), or even Flag Ceremony.
Basic held various
extraculicular/ excul, such as Futsal, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball,
Volleyball, Traditional Dance, Modern Dance, etc. The place that is used for
Futsal, Table Tennis, Basketball, and Volley is the Indoor, Badminton usually
go to Temenggung, Traditional and Modern dance used an empty class that is not
being used, or any specified location.
Student at Basic
usually spend their time playing musical instruments or sing in their free
time, break, and lunch, and majority the students enjoy playing futsal,
computer lesson, Art&Craft, P.E, and Music, or everything practical,
according to them practical is more fun.
On Thursday, the Elementary held a worship in
the main hall in the morning usually at 07.30, the Junior and Senior High held
it at Friday, the seventh and some of the eighth grade worship in the music
room, while the rest held it on the third floor somewhere in a room where it is
called worship room. Every morning before class starts, students usually do
homeroom, they sing, pray, and read the Bible, and it has become a daily
routine for the Basic Christian School students.Vision And Mission
